The retreat will begin on Monday, August 20 and conclude on Thursday, August 23. The event will be held on the Sandy River just outside of Portland, Oregon. We strive to make Eat Retreat an inclusive event — one that reflects the diversity of our food communities. Entrepreneurs, chefs, food system visionaries, community builders, writers, photographers, farmers and food/drink makers of all kinds are encouraged to apply. A limited number of scholarships are available.
The cost to attend Eat Retreat is $775, which covers lodging in shared cabins, food, beverages, workshops and activities, but not travel or transportation. An application fee of $10 will be collected, and 100% of the funds will go toward scholarships. If you’ve applied before, we hope you’ll apply again. Our first round of selections will be announced in mid-April, so don’t delay your application!
